Terms and Conditions

Moonstone Markets: Event Terms & Conditions

By paying in full or leaving a deposit, stallholders confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to our terms. Full terms are available below.

Market Hours & Setup

Markets run 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Stallholders may set up from 9:00 AM. Do not arrive earlier than 9:00 AM. Packing up before closing is not permitted.

Payments & Booking

  • Bank Transfers: Use an identifiable reference (e.g., "Divine Readings – Mystic Meg") and email us upon payment.

  • Deposits: A £10 non-refundable deposit secures multiple bookings at the same venue. Full balance is due 4 weeks before the event.

Insurance & Compliance

  • Public Liability Insurance (PLI) is required and must be emailed 4 weeks before the event. No refund for missing PLI.

  • Risk Assessments must be completed within 2-3 days of booking. No assessment = no attendance.

  • Licensing: Stallholders are responsible for any necessary licenses (e.g., food hygiene, product safety). We may request proof at any time.

Event Logistics

  • Unloading: Follow venue-specific guidelines. Vehicles must be moved to public parking after unloading.

  • Late Arrival: Stallholders must arrive by 9:45 AM. Late arrivals risk losing their table with no refund.

  • Rubbish: Stallholders must remove all waste at the end of the event.

Stall Setup & Space Allocation

  • Spaces are allocated in advance based on product type and venue layout.

  • Tables, banners, and displays must fit within your allocated space without obstructing others. Additional space requires a second booking.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Stallholders may cancel within 14 days of booking for a refund.

  • Cancellations within 6 days of an event are non-refundable unless a replacement is found.

  • If Moonstone Markets cancels an event, a full refund will be issued.

Advertising & Promotion

  • We advertise events via posters, social media, and local marketing.

  • Stallholders are encouraged to promote their attendance to increase footfall.

General Conduct & Policies

  • Respectful behavior is required toward staff and fellow stallholders. Any abusive behavior may result in removal without refund.

  • GDPR Compliance: Contact details are used only for event communications. Stallholders can request or remove their data at any time.
